The Red Cross has a number of different short-term projects that youth groups can become involved with.  The American Red Cross commitment to providing each individual with equal aid requires gifts to be uniform and complete with the essential items from the packing list. To obtain a packing list, or for more information on short-term projects, contact Elaine Hansen at (507)437-4589..

Measles Initiative:

Each year, a disease barely remembered by most Americans kills nearly one million children, half million of those in Africa alone. This fact makes measles the single leading VACCINE PREVENTABLE cause of death among children in Africa. You can save the life of a child for less than a dollar. Volunteers are needed to support the Red Cross efforts to eradicate measles through fundraising. Contact us for more information.
