A Partner with the United Way

First Aid Stations provide basic first aid at local

community events.

 

Although most first aid provided is minor, being prepared at your community event could save a life. 

 

 

  

Volunteers at First Aid Stations are trained in first aid for:

  • cuts, scrapes, burns

  • heat and cold related emergencies

  • fainting, shock

  • allergic reactions and poisonings

  • breathing and cardiac emergencies

  • sprains, strains, and broken bones

 

Volunteers are also trained in:

  • taking blood pressure

  • HIV AIDS Awareness/Prevention
