      AED Information

Each year nearly 250,000 Americans succumb to Sudden Cardiac Arrest — an average of 700 deaths each day. The American Red Cross believes this statistic should and can be lowered by increased availability of Automated External Defibrillators (AED). Learn more about this device and see how easy it is to save a life.

    Employers, did you know…

In 1999 over 20 million individuals in the United States suffered a disabling injury in the workplace? Sadly, nearly 90,000 of these accidents were fatal.* That’s why it is so important that your employees have current and ongoing training in First Aid and CPR. All businesses need qualified personnel who know how to recognize and prevent potential injuries, but also know what to do when they occur.

The Red Cross teaches classes specifically suited for your type of business. We can set-up the proper class for you and your employees at your site and whatever times and dates are convenient.

Remember that employees trained to properly administer first aid, can reduce recovery time for the victim of an accident. Additionally, the knowledge and skills gained by taking a Red Cross workplace class quite possibly will mean the difference between temporary disability or lifelong disability for the victim.
