Making a gift of appreciated securities (stock, bonds and mutual funds) to your American Red Cross is easy and has some special benefits.   It can be done electronically by calling your broker and giving the following information:

  Your name, address and telephone number (so we know where to send the acknowledgement letter and can contact you if we have any questions) and

  The name of the stock, bonds or mutual funds you are donating and the number of shares.
