Last year, more than 1,400 volunteers donated

over 112,000 hours of their time and effort to help  others in Mower County.  The bottom line?  Our work receives virtually no support from national, state or local government, except for small grants for programs to house disaster victims who receive public assistance.  Learn more about our Case for Giving.

Volunteer Opportunities

Encourage your employees to take an active role in helping your local community by volunteering for the American Red Cross in a wide range of areas, including disaster response, community education, health and safety training, assisting the elderly, and helping homeless mothers and children.  We have a number of volunteer opportunities.
